Sun Metals is proud to announce its successful participation in the Movember campaign, joining forces with sister companies Townsville Logistics and Townsville Marine Logistics, to raise awareness and funds for critical men’s health initiatives. Our team demonstrated their commitment to making a difference by getting together and engaging in conversations that matter.

Movember is a global movement dedicated to tackling some of the biggest health issues facing men, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health challenges. At Sun Metals, we understand the importance of supporting the wellbeing of our people, both at work and at home, and contributing to the wider community.

From workplace events to personal fundraising efforts, the team collectively raised over $800 for Movember.

Jessica Jenkins, HR & Communications Manager, praised the team’s efforts, stating:
"We all know someone who has directly or indirectly been impacted by cancer or mental health concerns, and the work Movember is doing is so important.  Raising funds and raising awareness is something we can do to increase the support we provide our teams and the community with which we work, live and play.”
